Crockpot Chili

Crockpot Chili

2 cans black beans
1 can white beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
~2 cups Contadina tomato sauce
Large stalk (entire thing) of celery
3 onions
5 big ground beef burgers
1 red pepper
Oregano
Chili spice packet – if not, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, and a drop of cayenne pepper

1. Brown ground beef in a skillet with chopped onions, red pepper, and celery. Once this is done, use a strainer to drain the fat from the beef.

2. Put all of the ingredients, minus the beans, in the slow cooker on high for 4-5 hours and allow them to cook for 3-4 hours. If at any point the chili seems too watery, use a ladle to drain some of the excess water.

3. During the last hour, dump in the cans of beans with all the liquid.

Look at that color!

Eat it in a bowl or put it on a hot dog for a chili dog!
